Anna's Grooming Powder by Castle Baths

I was sitting in the CB lab this morning finishing up with the bottling process for the grooming powder and I thought, "I haven't blogged in a little while, What should I blog about?" Then it hit me, I can easily take pictures of what I was currently doing and show my readers what I do from day to day. So, That is exactly what I began doing, taking pictures. A few snaps later, I realized that I was having a little too much fun taking pictures and that I could really start doing this. Of course it would be mixed in with the regular postings about skin care, but this could be something fun and interesting.

First, it starts out with the product, bottle, lid and protective wrap. I am not really sure if you can see it, but the protective wrap is laying across the lid.

After I get the proper amount of protective wrap out, I proceed to place them over the bottles as shown in this picture. I do this and place them all on at once so that when I go to the next step, I won't have to do a stop and go process, instead it can be go, go, go.

I then pull out my handy dandy hair dryer and proceed to add heat to the plastic wrap. This causes it to shrink and wrap tightly around the bottle. This way, during shipment, it is less likely that the bottle will open, allowing the product to go everywhere. It also helps keep moisture out, allowing for safer handling.

Here is the finished product, and it's location on the shelf, waiting to be pulled and shipped to our customers.
